2 X Part Time Medical Receptionist/Clerical Assistant

20 Hours Per Week

Vacancy 1 – 8am-12md -  Vacancy 2 – 2pm- 6pm

£23,819 - £26,339 Pro-rata (£12.38 - £13.69 per hour)

We are looking to add to our reception team.   We want to hear from you, if you:

*Enjoy dealing with members of the public on the telephone and in person, and therefore have excellent communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner.

*Work with the minimum of supervision in a busy and sometimes stressful environment.

*Are patient focused and have compassion to communicate sensitively and effectively in challenging situations.

*Have excellent organisation and IT skills.

*Knowledge of medical terminology preferred, but not essential.

*Are able to work flexible hours, according to the needs of the practice during periods of annual leave.

*Have vision, willingness and drive, to adapt to changes in the NHS.

*Understand the need for confidentiality.

*Are professional in your approach.

*Will be enthusiastic, happy to work independently and thrive on working to high standards. 

*Have previous experience of working in a GP practice.  Although experience is not essential, it is preferred.
